Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Stephens Ventures properties, vehicles and services.

1. Acceptance of terms#

By booking an apartment, renting a vehicle, or using any service offered by Stephens Ventures, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking.

2. Bookings & payment#

All rates are quoted in Guyanese dollars (GYD) and are subject to change until a booking is confirmed. A confirmed booking requires a valid payment method and, where applicable, a security deposit. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

3. Check-in, check-out & keys#

Standard apartment check-in is 3:00 PM local time; check-out is 11:00 AM. Vehicle handovers occur at agreed pickup points with a photo condition report. Lost keys or fobs incur a replacement charge.

4. Guest conduct#

Guests are expected to respect the property, other residents and staff. Smoking indoors, unregistered guests, and any illegal activity are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of stay without refund.

5. Vehicle rentals#

Drivers must be 25 or older with a valid licence held for at least 2 years. The renter is responsible for fuel, tolls, parking and any traffic infractions during the rental period. Off-road use is not permitted unless expressly approved.

6. Liability#

Stephens Ventures is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our properties or vehicles, except where prohibited by law. Guests are encouraged to hold appropriate travel and rental insurance.

7. Governing law#

These terms are governed by the laws of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Georgetown.
